Discovering Concept-Based Arts Instruction is a comprehensive, step-by-step course designed by an arts educator FOR arts educators and arts-supportive curriculum leaders.
This course provides helpful frameworks and numerous arts-based examples and offers specific and accessible application ideas to help you create Concept-Based, inquiry-driven learning in your arts classroom.
You’ll work on developing your first Concept-Based Arts unit and lesson and have an opportunity to troubleshoot and refine these with a private coaching session with Nyssa to receive feedback on the lesson you create.
Five self-paced video modules that set the groundwork for Concept-Based Arts Instruction guiding you through the lesson design process, and demonstrating lesson design in action.
Weekly group support calls with Nyssa and fellow course participants - offered at two different times to accommodate time zones. You'll even have the opportunity to observe a lesson plan from start to finish.
You will receive your own Digital Resource Bank (templates, arts-specific content, and examples) to keep.
